Turmeric from Erode and Salem in Tamil Nadu, supplied as polished dried fingers or as ground powder. Finger curcumin is 2.5% minimum, which is the usual Salem and Erode range. Powder is milled to 60–80 mesh with moisture at 10% maximum. The photograph shows the rhizome beside the ground spice.
