A conventional spin-on engine oil filter. The photograph is a cutaway of the can, so you can see the pleated cellulose element, the metal shell and the base plate. Production filters are supplied complete, not cut open, with the sealing gasket fitted. Thread, gasket diameter and bypass setting are taken from the OEM number. Anti-drainback valve is included where the application needs it.
